PhosphonicSTM novel immobilisation technology provides the ability to design and tailor high performance solid materials and produce on a commercial scale, via a novel process.
PhosphonicSTM novel materials are based on functionalised inorganic solids utilising silica and alumina frameworks. PhosphonicSTM has families of novel materials that contain different functional groups bound to the inorganic solid framework.
These materials have been designed with different applications in mind and can be tailored in different physical forms with varied chemical and physical properties (pore and particle size, functional variants).
Examples of PhosphonicSTM novel silica materials
PhosphonicSTM materials can function over a wide range of operating conditions with great efficacy, can be easily recycled, possess longer lifetimes and applications require significantly lower quantities of material compared to traditional polymeric and resin products.
The main generic features of our materials:
- Novel functional groups designed and optimised for specific applications
- Fast kinetics in purification and catalytic processes
- High loading of functional groups on the solid surface
- High chemical, thermal, physical and mechanical stability
- Broad applicability across solvent types and conditions
PhosphonicSTM provides a design service as part of our offering, allowing a specific functional group or polymer or other chemical or biological entity to be immobilised onto a solid surface, for a wide variety of applications. Contact us about your technical idea.
