PhosphonicS™ Scavengers are being applied from Discovery Medicinal Chemistry
through to Process Development for the efficient removal of organic impurities from
synthetic intermediates and Pharmaceutical products, and are available for supply at
Manufacturing scale.
PhosphonicS™ Organic Scavenger portfolio targets removal of impurities including
electrophiles, nucleophiles, and acidic & basic contaminants, with particular
emphasis on providing options to address the scavenging of potential Genotoxic
impurities.
PhosphonicS™ technology allows designed functionalised materials to be tailored to
selectively and efficiently scavenge Organic impurities that are difficult to remove
from products by traditional methods. The introduction of effective scavengers for
some of the most problematic by-products and reactants in Organic Chemistry,
including phosphines, phosphine oxides, and amino acids, are currently in
development at PhosphonicS™.
PhosphonicS™ Organic Scavengers offer easy purification solutions, for operation in
either column or slurry formats, and are generally recycleable, though this is
dependent on the particular application. Column formats offered range from small scale
SPE cartridges to Process Development cartridges, serving applications on
multi-kg scale. PhosphonicS™ products are also easily packed into existing plant
equipment for fixed bed applications.
