Organic Scavenging: PhosphonicSTM functionalised materials are also in development as organic scavengers. In addition to enhanced materials for the scavenging of electrophiles and nucleophiles, PhosphonicSTM is introducing scavengers for some of the most problematic by-products/reactants in organic chemistry, including phosphines, phosphine oxides, amino acids and boronic acids. These materials are designed for use up to full process scale.

PhosphonicSTM technology allows us to design solid materials that can be tailored to selectively and efficiently remove organic and inorganic impurities that are difficult to remove from finished products. The use of PhosphonicSTM materials in column or slurry formats offers easy purification solutions and the potential to recycle the solid purification materials in some cases.

Key benefits of PhosphonicSTM materials for this application include higher scavenging efficiency due to the higher effective loadings imparted by multiple functional groups, broad solvent compatibility and excellent stability and purity.

The wider product choice and scavenger fine-tuning opportunities allowed by PhosphonicSTM technology offer the chance to dramatically improve your organic scavenging processes.

Organic scavengers and SPE materials are offered in a variety of Medicinal Chemistry-friendly formats, as well as in bulk quantities including cartridge formats.

Chiral Separations: Libraries of functionalised materials including chiral derivatives are under development for applications in chiral and regioselective separations as well as for asymmetric catalyst supports.
